Nov. 21-Dec. 24 - The Southlake Historical Society and Bob Jones Nature Center encourage all to support Southlake history and its natural environment by buying tickets to win a diamond-and-ruby necklace designed and donated by Pieter Andries Hye of Pieter Andries Jewelers, Southlake, valued at $5,000. All proceeds will furnish the log house in Bicentennial Park and will fund ongoing programs at the nature center. Tickets are $20 each at Southlake Public Library, Town Hall; Bob Jones Nature Center Gift Shop, 355 E. Bob Jones Road; Roxann Taylor and Associates, Realtors, 640 N. Nov. 22 - A Home for the Holidays Celebration will be from 3 to 9 p.m. in Southlake Town Square, featuring tree lighting, photos with Santa, carriage rides, entertainment and writing cards to troops overseas.
