Colleyville Hosts 'Haunted Trails’
The Haunted Trails Fest returns to Colleyville to usher in some pre-Halloween fun. The event, Saturday, Oct. 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Colleyville Nature Center, features a creepy journey along a pathway filled with scary creatures, spooky sounds, and special effects, according to a news release.
For younger children, a more friendly trail will be from 7 to 7:30 p.m., but the fright factor intensifies after 7:30 p.m., according to the release.
The Nature Center also will provide games, crafts and pumpkin decorating. Costumes will be judged too. The Nature Center is near the intersection of Mill Creek and Mill Wood drives, off Glade Road between Bransford and Precinct Line roads.
Also on tap for Halloween night, the Colleyville Fire Department is offering "Fire Safety Tricks & Halloween Treats" at the Central Fire Station, 5209 Colleyville Blvd.
In addition to candy treats, tours of the fire station and fire engine will be available, according to a news release from the city.
