July 1-Ongoing - Southlake senior citizens can call 817-798-4022 for Free Transportation five days a week, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., for non-emergency medical, shopping, social and personal needs. The organization that provides this is Call a Ride of Southlake (CARS). Volunteer drivers, ages 21 and older, are sought.

July 1, 13 - Carroll School Board has called a Special Meeting at 4 p.m. in the district’s Administration Center, 3051 Dove Road, Grapevine. The board’s regular meeting will be on July 13. See www.southlakecarroll.edu.

July 1-Ongoing - Volunteers are needed for a Community Outreach Program, Focus on Healing. The program supports local families battling cancer. Call 817-584-1200.

July 1-19 - Registration is under way for the Grapevine Southlake Soccer Association fall season. This is for boys and girls starting at age 4. For more information call 817-410-9950 or see www.gssasoccer.org.

July 1-31, Aug. 3-17 - Carroll Middle School, 1101 E. Dove, hosts Animal Care-Giving Training for students from 9 a.m. to noon, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. E-mail greenwom@cisdmail.com.

July 3 - MasterWorks Concert Series presents King Creole, performing classic rock, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Southlake Town Square. The event is free. Visit www.artsnetc.org. This is also the night of the city’s Stars & Stripes event, including fireworks. See Living, page 1B.

July 13 - Moms Offering Moms Support Club meets at 10 a.m. the second Monday of each month in various locations. See southlakemomsclub@yahoo.com.

July 21 - Which Wich, 1516 E. Southlake Blvd., will donate 15 percent of the sale every third Tuesday for 2010 Project Graduation of Carroll Senior High. Simply mention Project Graduation. Call 817-488-4446.
